ICBC (London) offers a Corporate Account service predominantly aimed at business customers with strategic links to China / Chinese markets.
Key product features include internet banking and a competitive cross-border payment remittance service.
In order to fulfil our regulatory obligations when establishing a new relationship, we may ask to see a range of materials from customers who apply to open a Corporate Account with ICBC(London).
As a minimum this should include;
1. Company Documents
- Company Registration Certificate
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Proof of company address
- List of directors and principal shareholders (i.e. individuals who control more than 25% of the company)
- List of authorised signatories
- An account application letter describing the nature of your business and proposed purpose of the account
- Current business plan
2. Proof of Identity for Beneficial Owners and Directors
- Passport (with accompanying valid UK Visa / Residence Permit if applicable)
3. Proof of Address for Beneficial Owners and Directors (Present at least one from the list below)

- Full valid photocard driving licence
- Bank statement provided by another bank (dated within last 3 months.) (Printed Internet Bank statements are not acceptable)
- Utility bill (dated within last 3 months. Mobile phone bills are not acceptable)
- Council Tax bill (dated within current tax year)
- Benefit book or original notification letter from the Benefits Agency
confirming the right to benefits.(dated within last 6 months)
- Mortgage statement (dated within last 3 months)
- Valid Home Insurance (dated Building or Contents) or Car Insurance Certificate
